The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on 5 February 2020 that because of the international health alert caused by the coronavirus epidemic, valid visas granted to citizens of the People’s Republic of China are suspended indefinitely.

For this reason, inform about the measure adopted to the holders of the visitor visas, in order to avoid inconvenience when trying to enter Paraguayan territory. Ask for more information about your travel situation at visa@mre.gov.py

Please notice, that we are unable to process Chinese clients’ applications for the permanent residence permit until the government does not allow Chinese applicants to enter Paraguay again.
