Professionals are needed everywhere in Paraguay, but the most substantial<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0demand is in the construction sector. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;We have incentives, including special regimes for the opening of companies, tax benefits and other mechanisms that facilitate the installation of businesses in the country&#8221;, said Jorge Kronaetter, Director of Migrations to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ultimahora.com\/ingreso-de-migrantes-crecio-15-en-2024-segun-dato-oficial\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abc.com.py.\u00a0<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In 2024, 270 permanent residences were granted to foreign investors through the Unified System for Opening and Closing Businesses (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.suace.gov.py\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SUACE<\/a> ), reflecting the interest in developing commercial activities in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Although Suace aims at larger-scale investments, many migrants are betting on small and medium-sized enterprises in commerce, gastronomy and services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">More than 60% of the immigrants arrived from Brazil (17169).
