In that case, it&#8217;s good to know that the necessary deposit amount increased to Gs. 34.331.150.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Why is the deposit amount increasing in Paraguay for the permanent residence permit?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The government recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lanacion.com.py\/politica\/2022\/06\/21\/ejecutivo-decreta-aumento-del-salario-minimo-a-partir-del-1-de-julio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">increased the minimum monthly salary<\/a> from 1 July 2022. And the amount of deposit follows this amount as it is equal to the minimum wage of 350 days.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">How much is the deposit during the Paraguayan permanent residency program?\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Te exact amount is 34.331.150 PYG or Gs or guaran\u00edes. Today, when I write this post (11.7.2022), this amount is equal to<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">4,990 USD or<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">4,955 EUR or<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">6,447 CAD or<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">7,393 AUD.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">What is the deposit for during the Paraguayan immigration process?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">There are several options to prove your solvency while obtaining Paraguay&#8217;s permanent residence permit. It demonstrates that you can survive in Paraguay and have enough money to start a new life. The deposit is a certain amount you must leave at the Central Bank\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">in cash and guran\u00edes.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">After receiving the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.migraciones.gov.py\/index.php\/tramites\/radicaciones\/radicacion-permanente\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">permanent resident permit at the Migrations<\/a>, you can withdraw this amount from the bank. Usually, you lose some money because of the fees and the exchange rates. Luckily (in 2022), the guaran\u00ed is behaving surprisingly well, and instead of losing money, you will earn some cents.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">There are several ways to prove your solvency during immigration; perhaps the naturalisation of foreign degrees is the most straightforward. Buying or renting ten hectares of land should be a good option, but it is more complex than it looks. The land is cheap in Paraguay, they say. And it is true if you want to buy a small land in the salty swamps in the deep Chaco jungle. But it is hard to find such a small land in Paraguay. People prefer to have thousands of hectares and do not sell or rarely rent ten hectares. Pilgrims can prove their solvency through the entity that allows them this title and status.
